Switching the auxiliary setting

Auxiliary equipments connected to this unit can be activated individually. Set each AUX source to ON when using. About connecting or using auxiliary equipments, refer to Using the AUX source on page 49.

Switching the auxiliary 1 setting

%Touch AUX1 on the initial menu to se- lect desired setting.

!VIDEO – an iPod with video capabilities connected with 4-pole mini plug cable (e.g., CD-V150M)

!AUDIO – auxiliary equipment connected with stereo mini plug cable

!OFF – No auxiliary equipment is connected

Switching the auxiliary 2 setting

%Touch AUX2 on the initial menu to turn

auxiliary 2 setting on.

# To turn auxiliary 2 setting off, touch AUX2 again.

Setting the rear output and subwoofer controller

This unit’s rear output (rear speaker leads out- put and RCA rear output) can be used for full- range speaker (FULL) or subwoofer (S.W) con- nection. If you switch the rear output setting to S.W, you can connect a rear speaker lead directly to a subwoofer without using an auxili- ary amp.

!When the multi-channel processor (e.g., DEQ-P8000) is connected to this unit, you cannot operate this function.

2Touch c or d to switch the rear output setting.

Touch c to select full-range speaker and FULL appears in the display. Touch d to select sub-

woofer and S.W appears in the display.

# When no subwoofer is connected to the rear

output, select FULL.

# When a subwoofer is connected to the rear output, set for subwoofer S.W.

Notes

!Even if you change this setting, there is no output unless you turn the subwoofer output on (refer to Using subwoofer output on page 35).

!If you change this setting, subwoofer output in the audio menu return to the factory set- tings.

!Both rear speaker leads outputs and RCA rear output are switched simultaneously in this setting.

Selecting the OSD color

You can change the OSD color.

%Touch OSD COLOR on the initial menu to select the desired color.

Each time you touch OSD COLOR it selects colors in the following order:

BLUE (blue)—RED (red)—AMBER (amber)— GREEN (green)—VIOLET (violet)

Selecting the illumination color

This unit is equipped with two illumination col- ors, blue and red. You can select the desired il- lumination color.
