Always press STANDBY/ON on the player’s front panel or

Be particularly careful when the power cord is connected to the AC outlet on another device because the player turns off in conjunction with the device.

This video output terminal provides clearer pictures when connected to a TV equipped with component inputs. Component video signals consist of three signals, Y, PB and PR.
