Entering PIN code for Bluetooth

Toconnect your Bluetooth device to this unit
viaBluetooth wireless technology, you need to
enterPIN code on your Bluetooth device to
verifythe connection. The default code is
0000,but you can change this in this function.
!Withsome Bluetooth devices, you dont
needto enter the PIN code.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
PINCODEINPUT.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
selecta number.
4 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
movethe cursor to the previous or next po-
sition.
5 Afterinputting PIN code (up to 16 di-
gits),press MULTI-CONTROL to store in this
unit.
#PushingMULTI-CONTROL right in the confir-
mationdisplay returns you to the PIN code input
display,and you can change the PIN code.
#Ifan invalid character has been entered, sub-
sequentcharacters are not displayed.
#Ifan invalid character has been entered in the
beginning,PIN code cannot be stored in mem-
ory.

nectedto this unit, the operations available
withthis unit are limited to the following two
levels:
A2DPprofile (Advanced Audio Distribution
Profile):Only playing back songs on your
audioplayer is possible.
AVRCPprofile (Audio/Video Remote Con-
trolProfile): Playing back, pausing, select-
ingsongs, etc., are possible.
!Sincethere are a number of Bluetooth audio
playersavailable on the market, operations
withyour Bluetooth audio player using this
unitvary extensively. Refer to the instruction
manualthat came with your Bluetooth audio
playeras well as this manual while operating
yourplayer on this unit.
!Informationabout songs (e.g. the elapsed
playingtime, song title, song index, etc.) can-
notbe displayed on this unit.
!Whileyou are listening to songs on your Blue-
toothaudio player, refrain from using on your
cellularphone as much as possible. If you use
yourcellular phone, the signal from your cel-
lularphone may cause noise on the song play-
back.
!Whenyou are talking on a cellular phone con-
nectedto this unit via Bluetooth wireless tech-
nology,song playback from your Bluetooth
audioplayer connected to this unit is muted.
!Whileusing Bluetooth audio player, automatic
connectionof Bluetooth telephone cannot be
performed.
!Evenif you are listening to a song on your
Bluetoothaudio player and you switch to an-
othersource, song playback continues.
