Adjusting initial settings
Usingthe initial settings, you can customize
varioussystem settings to achieve optimal per-
formancefrom this unit.
1 PressSRC/OFF and hold until the unit
turnsoff.
2 PressMULTI-CONTROL and hold until
theinitial setting menu appears in the dis-
play.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select one of
theinitial settings.
LANGUAGE(language selection)—
CALENDAR(calendar)—CLOCK (clock)—
WARNING(warning tone)—AUX1 (auxiliary
input1)—AUX2 (auxiliary input 2)—REAR SP
(rearoutput and subwoofer output)—
EVERSCROLL(ever scroll)—BT AUDIO (Blue-
toothaudio)—BT MEMORY CLR (clearing
Bluetoothmemory)—S/W UPDATE (software
update)
Usethe following instructions to operate each
particularsetting.
#Tocancel initial settings, press BAND/ESC.
Selecting the language
Foryour convenience, this unit equips multi-
plelanguage display. You can select the lan-
guagebest suited to your firstlanguage.
1 Displaythe initial setting menu.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
LANGUAGEin the initial setting menu.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectthe language.

4 PressMULTI-CONTROL to determine
theselection.
Setting the date
Thecalendar display adjusted in this mode ap-
pearswhen the telephone source is selected
orsources and the feature demo are off.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
CALENDARin the initial setting menu.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectthe segment of the calendar display
youwish to set.
PushingMULTI-CONTROL left or right will se-
lectone segment of the calendar display:
Day—Month
Asyou select segments of the calendar dis-
playthe segment selected will blink.
4 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
setthe date.
PushingMULTI-CONTROL up will increase
theselected day or month. Pushing
MULTI-CONTROLdown will decrease the se-
lectedday or month.

theinitial setting menu.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
selectthe segment of the clock display you
wishto set.
PushingMULTI-CONTROL left or right will se-
lectone segment of the clock display:
Hour—Minute
Asyou select segments of the clock display,
theselected segment blinks.
#Youcan match the clock to a time signal by
pressingMULTI-CONTROL.
