Bluetoothdevice is paired, the display auto-
maticallyreturns to the ordinary display.
Using a Bluetooth device to pair
1 Displaythe connection menu.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
OPENDEVICE.
#Ifthere is previous connection log in this unit,
youcan select the Bluetooth device from
PAIREDDEVICE.

3 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
selectthe special device.
#Bluetoothdevices that are difficult to establish
connectionis called special device. If your Blue-
toothdevice is listed in the special device, select
theappropriate one.
4 PressMULTI-CONTROL to open the con-
nection.
READYwill be displayed.
Thisunit is now on standby for connection
fromBluetooth device.
#Iffive devices are already paired,
MEMORYFULL is displayed and it is not possible
toperform the pairing operation. In this case, de-
letea paired device first. Refer to Deleting a paired
Bluetoothdevice on the next page.
#PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to display
thedevice name, BD address and PIN code of
thisunit.
5 Useyour Bluetooth device to establish
connection.
Connectionmethod is different depending on
theBluetooth device. See the manual of your
Bluetoothdevice to establish connection.
Whenthe connection is established, PAIRED
isdisplayed.
#Ifthe connection fails, ERROR is displayed. In
thiscase, try again from the beginning.
#PINcode is set to 0000 as the default. You
canchange this code in the initial setting. Refer
toEntering PIN code for Bluetooth wireless con-
nectionon page 31.

selecta device.
4 PressMULTI-CONTROL to start search-
ing.
Whilesearching, SEARCHING flashes. When
availableBluetooth devices are found, device
nameor BD address (if names cannot be ob-
tained)is displayed.
#Tocancel searching, press MULTI-CONTROL
again.
#Iffive devices are already paired,
MEMORYFULL is displayed and it is not possible
toperform the pairing operation. In this case, de-
letea paired device first. Refer to Deleting a paired
Bluetoothdevice on the next page.
#Ifno device can be found, NOT FOUND is dis-
played.In this case, check the status of Bluetooth
deviceand search again.
5 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
selecta device name you want to connect.
#Ifonly one device was found, this step cannot
beperformed.
