Youcan only use these functions with a multi-
CDplayer that supports them.
COMP(compression) and DBE (dynamic bass
emphasis)functions lets you adjust the sound
playbackquality of the multi-CD player.

COMP/DBEin the function menu.
#Ifthe multi-CD player does not support
COMP/DBE,NO COMP is displayed when you at-

Using ITS playlists
ITS(instant track selection) lets you make a
playlistof favorite tracks from the multi-CD
playermagazine. After you have added your fa-
voritetracks to the playlist, you can turn on ITS
playand play just those selections.
Youcan use ITS to enter and play back up to
99tracks per disc from up to 100 discs (with
thedisc titles). (With multi-CD players sold be-
forethe CDX-P1250 and CDX-P650, up to 24
trackscan be stored in the playlist.)

Creatinga playlist with ITS programming

1 Playa CD that you want to program.
PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to select
theCD.
2 Displaythe function menu.

3 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select ITS-M in
thefunction menu.
4 Selectthe desired track by pushing
MULTI-CONTROLleft or right.
5 PushMULTI-CONTROL up to store the
currentlyplaying track in the playlist.
COMPLETEDis displayed and the currently
playingselection is added to your playlist.
6 PressBAND/ESC to return to the play-
backdisplay.
Note
Afterdata for 100 discs is stored in memory, data
fora new disc will overwrite the oldest one.

Playbackfrom your ITS playlist

ITSplay lets you listen to the tracks that you
haveentered into your ITS playlist. When you
turnon ITS play, tracks from your ITS playlist
inthe multi-CD player begin to play.

3 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select ITS-P in

4 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn ITS play
on.
ITS-Pappears in the display. Playback begins
ofthose tracks from your playlist within the
previouslyselected MCD or DISC ranges.
#Ifno tracks in the current range are pro-
grammedfor ITS play, then EMPTY is displayed.
#Toturn ITS play off, press MULTI-CONTROL
again.

Erasinga track from your ITS playlist

Youcan delete a track from your ITS playlist if
ITSplay is on.
1 Playthe CD with the track you want to
deletefrom your ITS playlist, and turn ITS
playon.
