SMS (Short MessageService) ReceptionNotification Function
Whenan SMS is received by the connected
cellularphone, a message is displayed for 8
secondsto notify you of the reception. A beep
tonealso sounds at that time.
Note
Whenan SMS is received while a menu screen is
displayed,the display of the menu is
cancelled.
Using the external unit
Externalunit refers to a Pioneer product (such
asones available in the future) that, although
incompatibleas a source, enables control of
basicfunctions with this unit. Two external
unitscan be controlled with this unit. When
twoexternal units are connected, the external
unitis automatically allocated to external unit
1or external unit 2 by this unit.
Basicoperations of the external unit are ex-
plainedbelow. Allocated functions are differ-
entdepending on the connected external unit.
