Using CD TEXT functions
Youcan use these functions only with a CD

Youcan only use COMP/DBE (compression
andDBE) with a multi-CD player that supports
them.
1 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
mainmenu.
2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
FUNCTION.
Turnto change the menu option. Press to se-
lect.
Thefunction menu is displayed.
3 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select the
function.
REPEAT(repeat play)—RANDOM (random
play)—SCAN(scan play)—PAUSE (pause)—
COMP/DBE(compression and DBE)—ITS-P
(ITSplay)—ITS-M (ITS programming)—
TITLEINPUT (disc title input)
#Ifyou do not operate functions other than
ITS-Mand TITLE INPUT within about 30 seconds,
thedisplay automatically returns to the ordinary
display.
#Whenplaying a CD TEXT disc on a CD TEXT
compatiblemulti-CD player, you cannot switch to
TITLEINPUT. The disc title is already recorded on
theCD TEXT disc.

Notes
!Toreturn to the playback display, press
BAND/ESC.
!Ifyou select other discs during repeat play,
therepeat play range changes to MCD.
!Ifyou perform track search or fastforward/re-
verseduring TRACK, the repeat play range
changesto DISC.
!Aftertrack or disc scanning is finished, nor-
malplayback of the tracks begins again.
