Switching the ring tone
Youcan select whether to use this unit’s ring
toneor not. If this function is set to on, ring
tonefrom this unit will sound.
1 Displaythe function menu.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
RINGTONE.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to turn ring tone
on.
Toturn ring tone off, press MULTI-CONTROL
again.
Making a call by entering
phone number

Besure to park your vehicle and apply the park-
ingbrake when performing this operation.

2 UseMULTI-CONTROL to select
NUMBERDIAL.
3 PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to
selecta number.
4 PushMULTI-CONTROL left or right to
movethe cursor to the previous or next po-
sition.
#Upto 32 digits can be entered.
5 Whenyou finish entering the number,
pressMULTI-CONTROL.
Callconfirmation appears.
6 PressMULTI-CONTROL again to make a
call.
7 Toend the call, press PHONE/ /
BTMENU.
Setting the private mode
Duringa conversation, you can switch to pri-
vatemode (talking directly on your cellular
phone).
