ThePhone Book entry is deleted and
CLEAREDis displayed. The display returns to
PhoneBook entry list.
Using presetnumbers
Numbersthat you dial frequently can be as-
signedto presets for quick recall.

Assigningpreset numbers

1 PressLIST to display DIAL PRESET (pre-
setnumber list).

2 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to switch preset
numbers.
Youcan select preset number from 1to 10.
#Pressand hold DISP to scroll the phone num-
ber.
#Ifthe phone number is already in the phone
book,the corresponding name is displayed.
Inthis case, press and hold DISP to scroll the
name.
#Youcan also change the phone number by
pushingMULTI-CONTROL up or down.
3 PressMULTI-CONTROL to select a preset
numberthat you want to assign a phone
numberto.
4 Pressand hold MULTI-CONTROL to dis-
playMEMORY.
PushMULTI-CONTROL up or down to switch
MEMORY(memory) and DELETE (delete).
#Ifa phone number is already stored in the se-
lectedpreset number, the new phone number will
overwritethe old one.

5 SelectMEMORY and then press
MULTI-CONTROLto display the phone
book.
6 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select the first
letterof the name you are looking for.
#Youcan also perform the same operation by
pushingMULTI-CONTROL up or down.
7 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display en-
tries.
Thedisplay shows the first three Phone Book
entriesstarting with that letter (e.g. “Ben”,
“Brian”and“Burt”when “B”is selected).
8 TurnMULTI-CONTROL to select a phone
bookentry you want to store in thepreset
list.
#Youcan also perform the same operation by
pushingMULTI-CONTROL up or down.
#Youcan scroll literal information by pressing
andholding DISP.
9 PressMULTI-CONTROL to display the
phonenumber list of the selected entry.
#Youcan also display the phone number list of
theselected entry by pushing MULTI-CONTROL
right.
#Ifseveral phone numbers are included in an
entry,select one by turning MULTI-CONTROL.
#Youcan scroll literal information by pressing
andholding DISP.
#Ifyou want to go back and select another
entry,push MULTI-CONTROL left.
10 PressMULTI-CONTROL to store the
phonenumber in the preset list.
