Setting Up for Surround Sound

SURRBACK SYSTEM (Surround Back System)

This setup selects how your surround back system will be used. If you want to use it for surround back speakers in your main speaker system choose NORMAL SYSTEM. In this case you won’t have any B (or secondary) speaker system as these speakers fill that role also for the VSX-45TX. If starting fresh, complete steps 1-3 in page 36.

							Choose from:
							NORMAL SYSTEM: if you want to use these speaker
							terminals for your surround back speakers in your main
STANDBY/ON							speaker system (referred to as the A speaker system).
		STANDBY					SECOND ZONE: if you want to use the these speaker
MOVIE	MUSIC	ENTER					terminals for an independent speaker system (referred to

							independent source through these speakers but you will
							need a separate IR receiver (see pages 74–79 to set up
							the MULTI-ROOM feature).
