•Rotate the bracket, and orient the speak- er to point in the desired direction (Figure 5).

•Hold the speaker in the chosen location to make sure it clears the ceiling, adja- cent walls, corners, beams, lighting fix- tures and door/window frames.

•Lightly outline the bracket with a pencil (erase later). Note where the short end of the bracket is located on your outline (Figure 6).

•Use the supplied paper template (inside back cover of this instruction manual). After you cut out the template, match the short end of your outline to the short end of the template, and mark the location of the screw holes through the paper.

•If you are certain that there is a stud behind the wall surface, drive the sup- plied screws through the wall and into the stud.

•If there is no stud behind the chosen location, install #10 wall anchors (not supplied) into the wall by following wall anchor manufacturer’s instructions. Always use two wall anchors and screws per speaker.

•Drive screws into stud or wall anchors, leaving screw heads protruding 1/16".

•If you have routed the speaker wire in the wall, pass the wire through the large hole in the back of the bracket and snake it through one of the two holes on the
