SBatteries can present a risk of electrical shock or burn from high short circuit current. Observe proper precautions.
SProper disposal of batteries is required. Refer to your local codes for disposal requirements.
SThis UPS contains its own energy source (batteries). The output receptacles may carry live voltage even when the UPS is not connected to an AC supply.
SNever dispose of batteries in a fire. Batteries may explode when exposed to flame.
SNever open or mutilate batteries. Released electrolyte is harmful to the skin and eyes, and may be extremely toxic.
STo reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, install this UPS in a temperature and humidity controlled, indoor environment, free of conductive contaminants. Ambient temperature must not exceed 104°F (40°C). Do not operate near water or excessive humidity (95% max).
SDo not remove or unplug the input cord when the UPS is turned on. This removes the safety ground from the UPS and the equipment connected to the UPS.
SThe wall outlet must be within 2 meters of the equipment and accessible to the operator. The on/off switch on the UPS does not electrically isolate the internal parts. Unplug the input cord from the wall outlet when disconnecting the unit for long periods of time.
