CONVERSION KIT# 556-969 FROM NG TO LP

for B36X using SIT 820 NOVA Gas Valve

THIS CONVERSION MUST BE DONE BY A QUALIFIED GAS FITTER

IF IN DOUBT DO NOT DO THIS CONVERSION !!

Each Kit contains one LP Conversion Kit # 556-969Conversion Kit Contains:

9) Unscrew the pilot orifice with the allen key; then replace with the LPG pilot orifice, provided in the kit.

6)Remove the 2 screws securing the rear log tray and lift out.

7)Remove the wire clip below the pilot cap.

Installation of LP

Conversion Kit:

1)Shut off the gas supply.

2)Remove the louvers (and Arch screen doors if they are installed).

3)Open the flush door and remove the door.

4)Remove the logs and embers (if already installed).

5)Remove the 2 screws holding the Burner Assembly to the firebox base. Slide the Burner Assembly to the left to release it from the orifice and lift out.

8)Pull off the pilot cap to expose the pilot orifice.

10)Remove burner orifice with a 1/2" wrench. Use another wrench to hold on to the elbow behind the orifice. Discard orifice.

11)Reinstall new burner orifice LPG stamped #55 and tighten.

Remove the 2 screws, push Burner Assemblyto the left and lift out.
