Shooting

A Set the mode dial on the camera to a

B Decide the composition of the picture and press the RELEASE button on the remote control unit.

to make the subject smaller.

In

(Still Picture) mode

The self-timer LED will light and recording will start after about 2 seconds.

In (Text) mode

Recording starts as soon as the RELEASE button is pressed.

In (Voice Memo) or (Motion Picture) mode

Recording of the image and/or voice memo starts when the RELEASE button is pressed. Recording stops when the button is pressed again.

Setting the Exposure Compensation

A Press the EV (+/–) button on the remote control unit.

B Set the exposure compensation level using the FWD ( ) or REV ( ) button and press the ENTER button on the remote control unit.

Press the RELEASE button to record the image.

Shooting in Manual Focus Mode

A Press the PROGRAM button.

Each time you press the button, the mode changes as follows: AF MF

SNAP ( S ) ￿.

B Adjust the focus using the FWD ( ) or REV ( ) button.

Press the RELEASE button to record the image.

The indicator “MAGNIFY:FUNCTION” on the LCD monitor is not effective.

To cancel the mode setting

Press the PROGRAM button to change to the other mode.
