C Select [ON] and then press the

ENTER button.

Note • To cancel the redeye reduction mode, select [OFF].

D Press the CANCEL button to exit the menu display.

The symbol will be displayed on the LCD panel and LCD monitor.

E Press the shutter release button to take the picture.

When you press the shutter release button, the flash will fire several times in succession preliminarily before firing last when the shutter releases.

Note • Redeye reduction mode cannot be used when the flash mode is set on (Flash Off).

Shooting with the Date (Date Imprint)

Use this function to record images imprinted with the date.

Note • Set the correct date and time in the Setup mode. The date is displayed in the format selected with the DATE SETTING option in the Setup menu. → P.31 “Setting the Date and Time”

A Set the mode dial to [ ] or [ ] and press the MENU button.

B Select [DATE IMPRINT] and press the button.
