nAsegúrese de que el freno de la cadena esté en la posición de funcionamiento; para ello, tire de la palanca (la protección de la mano) hacia atrás.

nOprima hasta el fondo y suelte la bomba de cebado siete veces.

nTire de la palanca del anegador del carburador completamente hacia afuera, a la posición de

ANEGACIÓN MÁXIMA.

nCuando la temperatura esté arriba de 10 °C (50 °F), tire del mango del arrancador hasta que el motor intente arrancar, pero no más de tres veces. Cuando la temperatura esté abajo de

10 °C (50 °F), tire del mango del arrancador hasta que el motor intente arrancar, pero no más de cinco veces.

nEmpuje la palanca del anegador a la posición de FUNCIONAMIENTO.

nTire del mango del arrancador hasta que empiece a funcionar el motor.

NOTA: Permita que la sierra funcione en esta posición de 15 a 30 segundos, según sea la temperatura.

nPresione el liberador del gatillo y oprima y suelte el gatillo del acelerador para permitir que vuelva a funcionar en marcha lenta el motor después de un tiempo total de funcionamiento de 30 segundos por lo menos.

PRECAUCIÓN:

Si no se suelta la aceleración parcial cuando la palanca del freno de la cadena está en la posición de frenado, puede resultar seriamente dañada la unidad. Nunca oprima sin dejar de soltar el gatillo del acelerador mientras el freno de la cadena esté en la posición de frenado.

Para arrancar con el motor caliente:

nColoque el interruptor de encendido en la posición de FUNCIONAMIENTO ( I ).

nAsegúrese de que el freno de la cadena esté en la posición de funcionamiento; para ello, tire de la palanca (la protección de la mano) hacia atrás.
