FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL FRENO DE LA CADENA

Verifique las condiciones de funcionamiento del freno de la cadena cada vez antes de usar la unidad.

nAccione el freno de la cadena rotando su mano izquierda alrededor del mango frontal, de manera tal que permita que la parte posterior de la mano empuje la palanca del freno de la cadena o la protección de la mano hacia la barra mientras la cadena gira rápidamente. Asegúrese de mantener en todo momento las manos en los mangos de la sierra.

nVuelva a poner el freno de la cadena en la posición de FUNCIONAMIENTO; para ello sujete la parte superior de la palanca (la protección de la mano) de dicho freno y tire de la misma hacia el mango delantero hasta que se oiga un chasquido.

ADVERTENCIA:

Si el freno no detiene la cadena de inmediato, o si el mismo no permanece en la posición de funcionamiento sin asistencia, lleve la sierra a un centro de servicio autorizado para su reparación antes de volver a usarla.

ARRANQUE DEL MOTOR

El arranque de la herramienta difiere según si el motor está frío o caliente.

ADVERTENCIA:

Mantenga el cuerpo a la izquierda del plano de la cadena. Nunca se coloque a horcajadas por encima de la sierra o de la cadena, ni incline el cuerpo a través del plano de la cadena.

nColoque la motosierra en suelo nivelado, y asegúrese de que no haya objetos ni obstrucciones en la cercanía inmediata que puedan tocar la barra y la cadena.

nSostenga firmemente el mango delantero con la mano izquierda y coloque el pie derecho en la base del mango trasero.
