TRONZADO

Tronzado es el término aplicado al corte del tronco de un árbol derribado, en tramos de la longitud deseada.

n Solamente corte un tronco a la vez.

nApoye los troncos pequeños en un caballete de aserrar o en otro tronco mientras los tronza.

nMantenga despejada el área del corte. Asegúrese de que ningún objeto pueda tocar la punta de la barra guía ni la cadena durante el corte, ya que puede originarse un contragolpe. Para evitar tal peligro, mantenga montada la protección anticontragolpe SAFE-T-TIP®mientras efectúa el corte. Consulte el apartado Contragolpe de la sección Reglas de seguridad específicas de este manual, donde encontrará información de seguridad adicional.

n Durante las operaciones de tronzado párese en el lado cuesta arriba de manera que la parte recortada del tronco no ruede encima de usted.

n Algunas veces es imposible evitar el pellizcamiento (sólo con las técnicas de corte estándar) o es difícil predecir en qué dirección irá a asentarse un tronco al cortarse.

Si el diámetro del tronco es suficientemente grande para introducir una cuña de tronzar suave sin tocar la cadena, debe utilizar la cuña para mantener abierto el corte y de esta manera evitar el pellizcamiento.

NOTA: Al tronzar o cortar un árbol con una cuña, puede ser necesario desmontar la protección anticontragolpe SAFE-T-TIP®de la punta para permitir tirar de la barra por todo el corte. Después de terminar el corte, debe volver a montar la protección de la punta.
