MANTENIMIENTO DE LA CADENA

PRECAUCIÓN:

Verifique que el interruptor esté en la posición de APAGADO “ O ” antes de realizar cualquier tarea en la sierra.

Sólo utilice una cadena de contragolpe moderado con esta sierra. Esta cadena de corte rápido proporciona reducción del contragolpe si se le da debido mantenimiento.

Para poder dar un corte liso y rápido, es necesario dar un mantenimiento adecuado a la cadena.

La cadena requiere afilarse cuando las virutas de madera salen pequeñas y polvorientas, cuando es necesario forzar la cadena a pasar a través de la madera durante el corte, o cuando la cadena corta hacia un lado. Durante el mantenimiento de la sierra considere lo siguiente:

n Un ángulo incorrecto de limado de la placa lateral puede aumentar el riesgo de un contragolpe violento.

nEspacio libre de los dientes limpiadores (calibres de profundidad).

Demasiado bajo aumenta el peligro de contragolpe.

Si no está lo suficientemente bajo disminuye la capacidad de corte.

nSi los dientes de corte han tocado objetos duros como clavos y piedras, o han sido desgastados por el lodo o la arena presentes en la madera, permita que afilen la cadena en un centro de servicio autorizado.

NOTA: Al cambiar la cadena, inspeccione la rueda dentada de impulsión para ver si tiene desgaste o daños. Si hay señales de desgaste o daños presentes en las áreas indicadas, lleve la sierra a un centro de servicio autorizado para que cambien la rueda dentada.

NOTA: Si no comprende completamente el procedimiento correcto de afilado de la cadena después de leer las instrucciones siguientes, lleve la sierra a afilar a un centro de servicio autorizado o reemplácela con una cadena de contragolpe moderado recomendada.
