DYNAMIC RANGE CONTROL

DVD

This function sets the DRC (Volume) for a DVD disc.

The settings will be retained in the memory until they are changed, even if the power is turned off or the disc is replaced.

Dynamic Range Control

When you playback discs recorded with Dolby Digital, this function makes it easier to hear the sound from the connected TV, even if the volume is reduced.

Press [SETUP] in the stop mode.

“Language” is selected.

Std: Plays back with the sound recorded on the disc.

TV: When connect to the TV and set this if you feel the

 

sound is too low.

Notes:

This function works only during playback of Dolby Digital recorded discs.

This function does not work with sound output from an optical terminal.

DRC stands for Dynamic Range Control.

If you feel the sound is distorted when you playback, switch the mode setting to “Std”.

6 Press [SETUP] to close the screen.
