Selecting a Character Input Mode
Your Sprint PCS Vision Phone provides convenient ways to enter
words,letters, punctuation, and numbers whenever you are
prompted to enter text (for example,when adding a Contacts entry
or when sending email messages).
To change the character input mode:
1. When you display a screen where you can enter text,press
Mode(right softkey).
2. Select a character input mode:
T9 Wordto enter characters using predictive
T9 Text Input (see next page).
Alphabetto enter characters by tapping the keypad
(see page 35).
SYMBOLto enter symbols (see page 36).
NUMBERto enter numbers (see page 36).
PRESET SUFFIXto enter a preset suffix (see page 36).
SMILEYSto enter smile pictures (see page 37).
Emoticonsto enter pictorial symbols (see page 37).
