Adjusting the Phone’s Volume Settings

Adjusting the ringer volume

1.Select > Settings > Sounds > Volume > Ringer.

2.Select a volume level and press Done (left softkey).

Tip: You can adjust the ringer volume in standby mode (or the earpiece

volume during a call) by using .

Adjusting the Alert Volume

This setting controls the alert volume for 10-4, Voicemail, Messaging, and Calendar/Alarm. You can set the alert volume separately from the ringer volume setting.

1.Select > Settings > Sounds > Volume > Advanced Ringer.

2.Select 10-4,Voicemail, Messaging, or Calendar/Alarm.

3.Using the navigation key, select Separate Vol.

4.Select a volume level, and press Done (left softkey).

Adjusting the Phone’s Receiver Volume

1.Select > Settings > Sounds > Volume > Receiver.

2.Select either Earpiece or Speaker.

3.Select a volume level, and press Done (left softkey).

Adjusting the Application, Start-up/Power-off, or Key Beep Volume

1.Select > Settings > Sounds > Volume.

2.Select Application, Start-up/Pw-off, or Key Beep.

3.Select a volume level, and press Done (left softkey).
