Setting the Text Entry Options

1.Select > Settings > Others > Text Entry.

2.Select an option and press .

Auto-Capitalto set the auto-capital on or off.

My Words to add a word to or edit a word in the T9 database (see page 26).

Input Language to select the language (English or French).

Default Input to select T9 word, Alphabet, or Retain Mode for the initial entry mode. Set Retain Mode to retain the previous entry mode (see page 28).

Auto-Spaceto set the auto-space on or off after T9 words you enter.

T9 Settings to customize the T9 settings (see page 27).

Add Word to store words that you use frequently (see page 26).

Auto-Completeto automatically display words that may follow the current text input.

Setting Any Key Answer

This feature allows you to answer incoming calls by pressing any

key (except , , softkeys, and sidekeys).

1.Select > Settings > Others > Any Key Answer.

2.Select On or Off.

Auto Answer Mode

This feature sets the phone to automatically pick up incoming calls in speakerphone mode or hands-free mode (when connected).

1.Select > Settings > Others > Auto Answer.

2.Select Hands-free or Speakerphone.

3.Select 5 Seconds, 10 Seconds, or Off.
