Command Function

To control the cutting of labels when using a SATO cutter unit with

 

the printer printer. This command allows the cutting of a multi-part tag

 

or label at a specified interval within a print job.

Input to Printer:

Printer Output:

This set of commands will print 6 labels (3 x 2) with two labels

 

between each cut.

Special Notes

 

 

 

1. You must have the optional printer Cutter to use this function.

 

Contact your SATO representative for more information.

2.To use this command, the printer configuration must have the cutter option enabled. See Printer Configuration commands in this section manual.

3.If the cutter option has been enabled in the printer configuration and the cut value (a = 0), the cutter is inactive.

4.The <NUL> represents the ASCII 00 Hex character. A “~” (tilde) character or <NUL> character can be substituted in this command.

5.When using the Cutter command, the total number of labels printed is the product of the cut value and the print quantity.
