It is possible to lock your handset against unauthorised use. Depending on the type of lock you select, emergen- cy numbers can still be called from the handset.

Activating/deactivating the handset lock

You can lock your handset for outgoing calls to protect it against unauthorised use. Calls can be answered with locked handsets.

When you select the handset lock you will be requested to enter your handset PIN.

Enter the PIN (factory default “0000 “) and confirm.

Switch the handset lock off or on by pressing the ON key and save.

Quit the menu without saving any changes.

Barred numbers for handsets

Barred numbers are stored and displayed for handsets via the base station (➔ page 63 ).
