Descriptions with example

A short cut is a series of commands that is stored under
a short cut name and can be activated from the list of
short cut names in the same way as a directory entry.
Short cuts are very useful for base stations at which the
Gigaset 2000C must be operated with key combinations.
You can store operating sequences or inputs for base sta-
tion settings.
If you want to check your own call allowance account, for
example, the following inputs are necessary via the menu
or keyboard:

In this case, a short cut would contain the following ele-
ments:

A macro created with the input function could be entered
in the short cut list under the name "Unit check", for exam-
ple. It is activated with:

The balance of your handset account is displayed. This
short cut is provided with the system macros (page
83).

Short cut menu

When you call up the short cut function, a list is available
containing all of the available short cuts. If the list is emp-
ty, a broken line is shown. The short cut menu is activated
by pressing the display key. The following options
are available:
