Analog trunks
For operating your Gigatset 2011 in a telephone system
for through connection to the public telephone network
you must set:
●the analog trunk
●the pause length after the analog trunk (if a pause is
necessary after entry of the analog trunk)
If the telephone system is connected as a subsystem to
a main system, you must set the:
●the analog trunk
●the MSI
●the pause length after the analog trunk/MSI
Entering the analog trunk and the MSI
The analog trunk and MSI have one to three characters
and can comprise the digits @ to 6 and the :, #,
and R keys.

For the pause length to be entered after the an-
alog trunk/MSI, please consult the documenta-
tion supplied with your telephone system.

#@ Start the setting procedure.
oEnter the four-digit base code (factory default: “0000“)

xSelect the analog trunk.

oEnter the analog trunk or the MSI. If more than one ana-
log trunk or MSI is available, you can enter the next analog
trunk/MSI by pressing u .
uSave the setting.
