4Confirm that the receiving remote commander is ready to receive data.

Be sure that the sending remote commander is ready to transfer data.
5Press ENT (Start data transfer).
As the data is transferred, the corresponding Component Select buttons turn off one by one.
If data transfer has been unsuccessful during or after procedure, the S (set) indicator and all Component Select buttons flash five times, and the Commander returns to its state in Step 3.
Either try again from Step 5, or press S (set) to cancel data transfer.
Notes
•The data for the functions not available with the
functions cannot be transferred to another kind of Commander even if it has the mark.
•Be sure that the receiving Commander is ready to receive data.
To transfer the data of a Component Select button
The data of a Component Select button on this Commander (the settings and “learned” signals programmed on the buttons) can be transferred to a Component Select button on another Sony
1~2 Perform Steps 1 to 2 on page 38.
3While holding cursor v pressed, press the Component Select button whose data you want to send.
The S (set) indicator flashes and the selected Component button lights up.
4Confirm that the receiving remote commander is ready to receive data.
