Rear-Access Components of the Trays

Components that are accessed from the rear of the Sun StorageTek2540 Array and

the Sun StorageTek2530 Array controller trays include:

■Controller Modules – Tworemovable controller modules.

■Power-fan assembly – Tworemovable power supply modules with cooling fans.

The power-fan assembly is identical and interchangeable to the power-fan

assemblies used for Sun StorageTek2501 Array drive expansion tray.

■I/O Modules (IOMs) – Tworemovable input/output modules

assemblies used for Sun StorageTek2540 Array and the Sun StorageTek 2540
