3. Replace the server’s cover and tighten the captive screw (see FIGURE 4-9 in
Section 4.7, “Replacing the Server’s TopCover” on page 4-14).

Note – Thereare four DIMM slots. The one nearest to the CPU fan is slot 0. The one
nearest to the power supply unit is slot 3. Put the first DIMM in slot 0, and install
subsequent DIMMs in contiguous slots.
