Connecting Antennas (AM)AM indoor loop antenna
The supplied high -perfor mance AM loop antenna provi ded with
this unit is suffici ent for good receptio n in most areas.
To stand the lo op antenna on a surface, fi x the claw to the slot in
the antenna base.
Connect the lo op antenna‘s wires to the AM antenna ter minals.
Press the lever, insert the end of the cord, then release the lever.
Make sure it is fastened securely by pulling the cord lightly. Make
sure only the bare, stripped wire is inserted in the jack and that no
plastic insulation is preventing contact between the antenna wire
and terminal.
Place the a ntenna on a shelf or hang it on a window frame, etc.,
in the direc tion which gives the b est r eception. Keep all other
wires such as po wer cords, speaker wires or interconnec t wires as
far away as possible from the antenna.
< O nly USB flash memor y can be used. Do NOT use a high-capacity
USB hard disc with this unit.
< S ome flash memor y pla yers that charge from an USB ter minal
cannot be played back.
< H ard disk drives, CD/DV D dr ives, and other devic es t han f lash
memory connected via USB cannot be used.
< T he DR-H338i cannot copy, move, or delete files.
< Playable format: FAT12, FAT16, FAT32
< N TFS, HFS, HFS+ cannot be used.
