O LOUDNESS
Use this bu tton to com pensat e for the lo ss of bass at lo w
volumes.
P Open/Close (
L)
Use this button to open and close the disc tray.
When the tray is op ened during playb ack, it may t ake a few
seconds before the dis c is “unloaded” and the tray opens.
Q SLEEP/TIMER
When the unit is on, use this button to set the sleep timer.
In the standby mode, use this button to set the wake up timer.
R CLOCK
In the standby mode, use this button to adjust clock.
S PROG/MEM (Program/Memory)
In FM or AM mode, use this button to preset stations.
In DISC or USB mode, use this button to programme tracks.
T OSD (On Screen Displays)
Use this button to display information about the currently playing
disc.
U TIME
Use this button to start time search.
V SUBTITLE
Use th is bu tton to s elect the displaye d sub titles during DVD
playback.
W
AUDIO
Use this button to select the audio for playback.
X Skip (.//)/TUNING (+/–)
In FM or AM mode, use these buttons to tune in a station.
In DISC, USB or iPod mode, use these buttons to skip track s/files/
songs.
Y Stop ( H)/SCAN
In FM or AM mo de, use t his b ut ton t o pr ese t st ati ons
automatically.
In DISC or USB mode, use this button to stop playback.
Z Play/Pause (G/J)/SELECT/FM MODE
In FM mode, use this button to select stereo or monaural.
In DIS C, USB or iPod mode, use this button to start or pause
playback.
a MUTING
Use this button to mute the sound.
b TITLE
During PBC playback, use this button to display a menu.
c Cursor buttons (5/b/t/g) and E nter ( )
Use these Cursor buttons for navigation of on-screen menus and
the Enter button to confirm selections.
d MENU
In DISC mode, use this button with menu-enabled DVD discs to
bring up the DVD menu.
During play back of MP3/WM A/JPEG files , us e t his button to
switch between the folder list and the file list.
In iPod mode, use this bu tton to go back to p revious menu of
iPod. This button is equivalent to the MENU button on your iPod.
When a video CD (version 2.0) is loaded, use this but ton to turn
the PBC function on or off.
Note:
To simplify explanations, instructions in this manual might refer to the
main unit or remote control only. In such cases, the same controls on
the remote control and main unit will operate similarly.
