Appendix A – Mechanical Details

5V / 3.3V Jumper – JP1

This JP1 Jumper provides for selection of either 5 volt or 3.3-volt operation.

Warning – Be sure to set the 5V/3.3V jumper to match the requirements of your SocketModem. If this jumper is set incorrectly, damage to the SocketModem and/or the Test/Demo card could result.

Caution: Use only the provided Multi-Tech transformer with the Test/Demo board; use of any other power source will void the warranty and will likely damage the Test/Demo board and SocketModem. The transformer connector is keyed to prevent improper connection to the Test/Demo board.
