Range of the tab width and shift width

The tab width and shift width can be set in the following ranges. They are different when the tab paper is set in the drawer and on the bypass tray.

 

Tab width

12 - 17 mm (0.4" - 0.6")

0 - 30 mm (0 - 1.1")

 

 

 

Bypass tray

10 - 20 mm (0.4" - 0.7")

0 - 30 mm (0 - 1.1")

 

 

 

Measuring the tab width and shift width on the original glass

The tab width and shift width can be measured by the scale on the left and rear side of the original glass. The marks of the original scale have a 2 mm (0.08") pitch.

Place tab paper on the original glass to measure the tab width.

The original is copied on the tab paper.

Set the tab width and shift width using [TAB EXTENSION] in advance.
