Paging Announcements

Telephones are assigned to specific page groups in system programming. You can page Digital and Electronic telephone speakers and external speakers.

➤To make a page announcement

1.Press &$// + a paging access code.

2.Make your announcement at a normal voice level.

3.Press (1'.

You hear dial tone. See Tables 11 and 12 on Page 112 for the access code.

It is recommended that you repeat the announcement.

All Call Page

You can make an All Call Page to Digital and Electronic telephones assigned to the “All Call Page Group.” Stations are assigned in system programming.

➤To make an All Call Page

1.Press &$// + $OO# &DOO#3DJH ()&1 + [B])

...or &$// + &6<.

2.Make your announcement

3.Press (1'.

All Call Page telephones are paged, but you cannot access external page speakers. &6< can also Page external speakers, depending on system programming.

Note It is recommended that you use your normal voice level and repeat the page.

Release and Answer

Release and Answer automatically disconnects or transfers a call and answers a new call using a button, instead of )/6+. When you receive the new call, you hear a muted, Busy Override, or Camp-on busy tone.
