This section explains how to use your handset for retrieving messages and setting up

Voice Mail Identification Code

To forward calls to your message mailbox and ensure t hat c allers hear your pe rso nal
greeting, you must store a Voi ce Ma il I dentific atio n (VMI D) code . You only have to
store the VMID code once. After storing the code, messages are automatically sent
to the Voice Mail unit and directed to your mailbox. Your [PDN] and up to four
[PhDNs] can be independently forwarded.
Note Your handset must be programmed as the owner of a [PhDN] before calls to
the [PhDN] can be forwarded to a voice mailbox number.

If the call is not answered after a specified recall
time set in system programming, camp-on is
cancelled and the transferred call rings your handset
(if you are not talking). If you are talking, you hear
two tone bursts.
