4 Replacement Procedures

4.19 Touch Pad and Button Board

Removing the Touch Pad and Button Board

Remove the touch pad and button board according to the following procedures and Figure 4- 34.

1.Disconnect the touch pad flat cables from CN5000 on the button board and touch pad.

2.Remove two M2x3 black flat head screws securing the button board.

3.Disconnect the button board flat cable from CN5001 on the button board.

4.Remove eight M2x3 black flat head screws securing the touch pad.

5.Remove the touch pad bracket and touch pad.
