7.Select the Server tab.
8.Select SLIP: Unix Connection.
9.Deselect Log on to network.
10.Click TCP/IP Settings….
11.From SLIP TCP/IP settings dialog box, enter the IP Address provided by your CDPD carrier.
12.If you have been given the address of a Domain Name Server (DNS), select Name server addresses. Enter the address as your Primary DNS.
Note: A DNS is needed to access sites by name, e.g.
www.uniden.com.
13.Deselect Use IP header compression.
14.Select Use default gateway on remote network.
15.Click OK twice.
