Installation
Choose a location
For maximum performance of your
cordless telephone system:
1 Choose a centr al loca tion for
your base unit
2 Ins tal l your bas e uni t and
extension handset away from
electronic equipment such as
personal computers, televisi on
sets and microwave ovens
3 In l ocation s whe re t here are
multiple cordless telepho nes,
separate b ase units as far as
possible from each other
4 Install your telephone equipment
away from h eat s ources and
direct sunlight
5 Avoid excessive moisture, dust
or extreme cold
Install handset battery

1 Alig n t he two hole s i n t he plug wit h
the soc ket pins , t hen snap t he plug
into place

Place the battery in the compartment with
the wires in the upper right co rner
3 Replace cover by sliding i t upwards until
it clicks into place
4 Be sure to charge the battery for 16 hours
before using your phone

VTech battery, or
equivalent
• Plac e the handset in
its base or charger
when not in use to
ensure optimum
performance
• CAUTION: To reduce

handling battery in

rings, bracelets, and

overheat and cause
