Polyphony

Initially, the maximum number of notes that can be played simultaneously, with a stereo sampling sound, is 32 on the Silent Series piano. If you are playing a duet or a song with a lot of pedaling that exceeds the avail- able polyphony, sustained notes may stop abruptly as new notes are played. To pre- vent this you can increase the polyphony to 64 stereo.

Set the power switch to the off position.

To set the polyphony, hold down the Middle C key while powering up the Silent Series piano, as shown (1, 2).

Polyphonie

Bei Verwendung des in stereo gesampelten Klangs können Sie auf dem Piano der “Silent”-Seriejeweils 32 Noten gleichzeitig spielen (d.h. es ist 32stimmig polyphon). Wenn Sie jedoch ein Duett spielen oder oft das Fortepedal zum Halten bestimmter Noten verwenden, kann es geschehen, daß bestimmte Noten plötzlich wegfallen. Darum ist auf dem Piano der “Silent”-Serieauch eine Betriebsart belegt, in der Ihr Instrument 64stimmig und trotzdem stereo ist.

Um die erweiterte Polyphonie zu aktivie- ren, müssen Sie das mittlere C gedrückt hal- ten, während Sie das Piano der “Silent”- Serie wieder einschalten. Siehe (1, 2).
