Selects a channel from a list of all channels (see page 29).

Selects a channel by category (see page 29).
•Direct number access mode
Selects a channel directly by channel number (see page 30).
•Preset search mode
Selects a channel from the preset channels (see page 31).
You can register channels as presets and then easily recall any preset channel by selecting its preset number.

•You can skip to channels in the previous or next category by pressing CATEGORY l / h on the front panel (or CATEGORY l / h on the remote control).

The CATEGORY indicator lights up in the front panel display when selecting a category. When you select a category, the first channel in the category is selected.
