REMOTE CONTROL FEATURES

Assigning remote control codes

1Refer to the “LIST OF REMOTE CONTROL CODES” at the end of this manual and determine the remote control code that corresponds to each of your components.

Components are listed by category (TV, VCR, DVD player, etc.) and manufacturer.

2Press and hold CODE SET on the remote control for more than 3 seconds.

3Press an input selector button on the remote control to select the input source you want to configure.

You can also press TV A to configure the TV control buttons (see page 47).

4Use the numeric buttons on the remote control to enter the four-digit remote control code corresponding to the component you want to assign.

When the component has been assigned, “OK” is displayed on the front panel display. If an error occurs, “NG” is displayed.

Notes

If the manufacturer of your component has more than one remote control code, assign each code one at a time until you find the code that successfully controls your component.

You can only assign one remote control code to each input selector button.

Resetting the remote control

Use this procedure to reset the remote control codes assigned to each input selector to the factory default (see “Default remote control configuration” above).

Note

This procedure will be cancelled if you do not press any buttons for 1 minute. If the procedure is cancelled, repeat from step 1 if necessary.

1Press and hold CODE SET on the remote control for more than 3 seconds.

2Press OPTION on the remote control.

3Use the numeric buttons on the remote control to enter “9981”.

The remote control code assigned to each input selector button will be reset to its factory default code.
