Telnet

11.1 Overview

Any popular Telnet client can be used for remote configuration.

Use the '-h' argument with any command to show help. E.g. 'showep -h' explains what showep does and how to use it.

11.2 Config Telnet Server

For security reasons, disable the Telnet Server if the bridge is not to be configured via Telnet.

Note: The telnet connection will be terminated automatically if the telnet client doesn't input any commands for 5 minutes; i.e. the console idle timer is 10 minutes (600 seconds).
