In the OSPF Configuration screen, click Interface to display the OSPF Interface screen.

The following table describes the labels in this screen.

Area ID | Select the area ID (in an IP address format with dotted decimal notation) | |

| Select an authentication method. The choices are | |
| (default), Simple and MD5. | |

| Select Simple and set the Key field to authenticate OSPF packets | |
