Fronts are shipped attached to the face.

INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR QUARTET AND SOLITAIRE FACE OPTIONS.

For BOTH Quartet and Solitaire Fronts:

Figure 8.15 Place a washer on the top of the door hinge. Line up the hole in the door hinge and the washer with the hole in the hinge box of the face. Place a gold-plated hinge pin in the hole to secure.

Quartet Door Alignment

Doors are properly aligned at the point of manufacture. However, the possibility exists for them to become out of alignment during shipping. To correct this occurance, follow the instructions below.

Figure 8.13 To remove the face, loosen the thumb bolt beneath the ashlip.

Figure 8.14 Lift up on the top of the Front, gently pulling out on the bottom. Set aside in a safe location.

Instructions continue for Quartet Front only:

Doors ship attached to the face. If they have been removed, follow instructions below.

Install one door at a time. Slide the bottom hinge rod into the lower hinge box hole on the face.

Allen head bolts on back of Quartet Face - 2 per side.

Figure 8.16 Back of Quartet Face: Locate the two Allen head bolts connecting the hinge bar to the face. The hinge bar can be adjusted left or right.

Hinge Bar-make adjustment right or left.

Figure 8.17 Use a 5/32 in. Allen head wrench and loosen the Allen head bolts. Make necessary adjustment (move hinge to right or left, for proper fit and operation of doors, and retighten Allen bolts.
