11.TROUBLESHOOTING & REPAIR
11.1. GENERAL NOTES
CAUTION
THE OPERATIONS OUTLINED IN THIS CHAPTER MUST BE PERFORMED BY QUALIFIED
MAINTENANCE PERSONNEL ONLY.
PLEASE READ CHAPTER 11 OF THE M300E/EM MANUAL (P/N 04288) BEFORE ATTEMPTING THE FOLLOWING TROUBLE SHOOTING OR REPAIR PROCEDURES
CAUTION
RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK. SOME OPERATIONS NEED TO BE CARRIED OUT WITH
THE ANALYZER OPEN AND RUNNING.
EXERCISE CAUTION TO AVOID ELECTRICAL SHOCKS AND ELECTROSTATIC OR
MECHANICAL DAMAGE TO THE ANALYZER.
DO NOT DROP TOOLS INTO THE ANALYZER OR LEAVE THOSE AFTER YOUR
PROCEDURES.
DO NOT SHORTEN OR TOUCH ELECTRIC CONNECTIONS WITH METALLIC TOOLS
WHILE OPERATING INSIDE THE ANALYZER.
USE COMMON SENSE WHEN OPERATING INSIDE A RUNNING ANALYZER.
The information found in Chapter 11 of the M300E/EM Operators Manual (P/N 04288) is applicable to the M300EU with the exceptions below.
CAUTION
ALWAYS ALLOW THE M300EU TO OPERATE FOR AT LEAST TWO HOURS AFTER ALL
REPAIRS HAVE BEEN FINISHED AND THE INSTRUMENTS CASE IS RE-CLOSED.
