Your 4200 Series Card Printer is built to require a minimum amount of maintenance. Nevertheless, there are a few procedures you can perform on a regular basis or as needed to ensure the best possible performance.

A. SUPPLIES REQUIRED

For the maintenance procedures outlined in this section, you will need the following items:

Isopropyl alcohol

Acetone

Standard clear adhesive tape or masking tape

Soft, lint-free cloth

Or, to make these maintenance procedures more convenient, a Printer Cleaning Kit is available from your reseller. This optional kit includes the following:

Printhead Cleaning Pens pre-moistened with 99.99% isopropyl alcohol for cleaning your printerÕs Printhead.

Cleaning Cards with an adhesive backing for automatically cleaning your printerÕs gray Card Feed Rollers and the Cleaning Roller.

Cleaning Pads pre-moistened with 99.99% isopropyl alcohol for cleaning your printerÕs Drive Roller and general inside area.
