Setting

Shutter

Shutter function is available to block out light to the screen, so that the screen can be used for the other presenters.

Protection

Prohibits the shutter operation from the remote control and the projector's side control.

Remote control . . . Selecting "On" prohibits the shutter operation from the remote control.

Projector . . . . . . . . Selecting "On" prohibits the shutter operation from the side control.

It is possible to prohibit the shutter operation from both of the remote control and the side control.

Effect

Choose the image effect at opening or closing the shutter from the following options.

Off ............. Disable.

L1 .............. The Image will fade in and out at opening or

closing the shutter.

L2 .............. The Image will fade in and out more slowly

compared with L1.

Release key

Choose the active buttons to release the shutter when the shutter is closed from the following options.

Any ............ By pressing any buttons on the remoter control

and the side control when the shutter is closed, the shutter will be released.

SHUTTER .. Only the SHUTTER button on the remote control and the side control can be released the shutter when the shutter is closed.

Only the following buttons are active when the shutter is closed;

-INPUT button and INPUT 1/2/3/4 button

-ON/STAND-BY button

Management

Shutter

Set the red frame pointer to the item and press the SELECT button.

Note:

•The Factory default value is set to 180 minutes for the count down time.

•The Shutter Management function cannot be halted.

The Shutter Management function turns off the projection lamp when the projector is left with the shutter closed and the set time has passed away. The count-down time can be set between 5 and 480 minutes. When the count-down time has elapsed, the shutter will be opened up automatically and the lamp will be turned off to cool itself down. The SHUTTER indicator is blinking blue during this cooling-off period. When the lamp has been fully cooled down, the POWER indicator turns green lighting and the SHUTTER indicator keeps blinking. Should the ON / STAND-BY button be pressed in this condition, the projection lamp will be turned on and the SHUTTER indicator turns off.
