3.4 Navigating the Menus

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Most of the controls for the projector are accessed from with-

appear. If you select "Load Default", this will not activate a separate function menu but rather begin an automated process of optimizing critical display parameters such as size, position, pixel tracking, etc.

Once you have a function menu displayed, navigate in a similar manner-enter a menu option num-

ber for any numbered option, or use to move the highlight and press Enter at the desired option. Extra long menus have a scroll bar on the right-use the arrow keys to see the remainder of the menu. Items that are locked out or do not pertain to the current action appear dimmed and cannot be selected.

NOTES: 1) If there is no signal present, all source-dependent adjustments are disabled. 2) After 15 minutes of inactivity, the projector leaves the menu system and returns to the presentation.

3)The Information menu is read-only.

When finished with a function menu, do one of the following:

to return to the previous screen

to leave the menu system and return to the active source.

On-line Help

If at any time you are uncertain what to do next, press Help to display detailed information about the current menu or highlighted option. A scroll bar appears on the right-hand side of a help win- dow if there is additional text-use the arrow keys to scroll. Press Help again to exit.

With no menus active, press Help to access general Help Topics. Scroll as necessary within a topic. Press Exit to return to the source. At the bottom of some menus, a line of 'hint' text also appears.
